  1. Use a landline phone, not a mobile phone when possible.  Use speaker phone if privacy isn't necessary and make shorter calls. The longer the exposure, the greater the effects from radiation. Limit usage to important calls and keep calls brief. Calls lasting just two-minutes have been shown to affect the natural electrical activity of the brain as much as a full hour after use.
     

  2. Turn your phone off when you wear it on your belt or carry it in a shirt or pants pocket.
