It is a reflective shielding material laid under flooring to block RF and microwave radiation coming from below. The metallic foil surface reflects energy so less of it passes up through the floor into your living space.
It is most useful for apartments and lower floors where radiation enters from the unit or space underneath. If your strongest readings come from below, floor shielding targets that path.
You can place it below floors or under carpet and hardwood, and it also works in crawl spaces, attics, walls, and metal or post-and-frame structures. It is lightweight, fiber free, and easy to install.
